Description

Children are born with mathematical instincts that help them make sense of the world. As these ideas develop in infants and toddlers, they prepare the ground for taking on specific mathematical thinking and problem-solving skills.

In this workshop series, we will explore Attribute and Comparison - two precursor math concepts, and how caregivers can use their everyday interactions to intentionally support infants, toddlers, and two-year-olds in the development of their awareness of the math that is all around them. Each workshop will be 90 minutes long.
