This follow up session to Decoding Data and Language 1 begins right where we left off, diving deeper into the nuances of challenging and changing the way we use data and words around conversations related to marginalized groups.
This follow up session begins right where we left off, diving deeper into the nuances of challenging and changing the way we use data and words around conversations related to marginalized groups. We’re rolling up our sleeves to tackle practical steps you can take to shift perspectives and practices at work and beyond. You’ll get hands-on with exercises that push the envelope a bit further, helping you look critically at the everyday communication materials you use at work. We’ll also open up about the bigger picture—how these small changes can ripple out into the wider world. Expect lively discussions, and plenty of lightbulb moments as we explore together.
Let’s make this impact tangible, and enjoyable along the way.
Participants will:
- Apply new knowledge and utilize their toolkit to identify problematic data and language.
- Edit data and language they use for work to focus on systems.
- Walk away with strategies that not only inspire but are also actionable and impactful.
This all takes place within a supportive, open environment that encourages lively discussion and collaborative conversation.
Please note that in order for this workshop to run effectively, we must have 10 participants. In the event that this number is not met by November 21st, 2025, the workshop will be canceled.
